About Jeremy:
Jeremy Meyers is a veteran of the online side of the music industry,
starting his career in 1999 at a well-known indie label. Moving to
Sony Music in 2004, he helped launch MySpace's Music property in
conjunction with rock band Midtown, as well as running campaigns for
Crossfade, John Legend and Anna Nalick. After the SONY/BMG merger, he
moved over to SONY BMG Masterworks, the Classical, film score and
Broadway division, where he's worked on campaigns for projects as
diverse as Yo-Yo Ma, Star Wars, Phantom of the Opera and The Wedding Singer. Currently, in addition to his Masterworks responsibilities, he works in the SONY BMG Commercial Music Group Digital Division (whew) doing many things including making our MTV-style video catalog available, coordinating the Legacy and Masterworks podcasts, and creating and updating this here blog.
