Another quality podcast. I particularily appreciated someone finally talking about the politics in some of the lyrics, rather than it simply being “The Greatest Break-Up Album of All-Time,” as most commentators relate. I wonder if Todd Haynes picked-up on this as well, and that’s why there’s so much political news events on the TV in Charlotte Gainsbourough’s abode, as she plays a character based somewhat on Sara Dylan, in the recent biopic “I’m Not There.”

The “Blood On The Tracks” record serves indeed as an entrance hall to this soul past or present that took upon itself expression, allowing minds to organize around something and get figured out.
