This evocative track was first cut for an album titled Sweet and Savage more than five years before its success as a single. Its utter simplicity and directness of emotion than transcends any language won it airplay as an LP cut. It attracted so much positive response that RCA released it as a 45 and, before long, Brazilian brothers Aenor and Natalicio Lima had a Top Ten hit.
