The Ames Brothers were on of the most popular and influential vocal quartets of the 1950’s with big hits like “Melodie D’Amour” and “The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane.” In the mid-sixties, Ed Ames was co-starring in the TV series Daniel Boone, and put two solo records in the Top Twenty, this and “Who Will Answer?”
